When the needle vibes hit

To my wonderful clients- Balanced Care Equine is currently not scheduling routine chiropractic, acupuncture, or other elective procedures, in compliance with the current stay-at-home orders to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of Pennsylvania. The American Veterinary Medical Association has recommended that veterinarians defer elective treatments and procedures to a future date. ***Dr. Kibbie is still available for medically necessary and emergent procedures for esta...blished clients and to address any concerns you may have about your horses and their welfare. Please do not hesitate to call with questions or if you need help.*** To be added to our waitlist for routine appointments once state and federal orders have been lifted, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can't wait to get back to helping your horses perform at their best! Stay safe and be well.

An Important COVID-19 Update from Balanced Care Equine: We are continuing to offer routine and emergency care to our patients and are committed to providing the care that your animals need. We are likewise concerned with the health and well-being of our staff and you, our clients. We will be taking the following steps to try to do our part to reduce the spread of this virus: 1. We will not be shaking hands with clients as a greeting, and we will do our best to keep a 6' dista...nce as much as possible. 2. We request that the number of people at an appointment is kept to a minimum, so only one person per horse (max). We can always call or FaceTime anyone else who would like to be involved in the appointment. 3. If you or a member of your household are sick with any sort of respiratory symptoms, please call to reschedule your routine appointment. If you have an emergency, please let us know and we will do our best to bring help so you can stay inside during the visit. 4. If you are an older adult, have a compromised immune system, or simply wish to be cautious, please let us know ahead of time so we can bring help, and you can plan to have your horses caught and in their stalls for the appointment, then stay in your house or away from the barn during our visit. We can chat over the phone or FaceTime about the details of the visit. Alternatively, if you would prefer to reschedule your routine appointment for a later date, we would be happy to accommodate that. 5. We will be upping our cleaning and disinfecting of the truck and equipment. We take our role as public health stewards very seriously, and this outbreak is no exception. We hope you stay well, and please let us know if you have any concerns about an upcoming appointment.
