New idea from Neighbor email chain. Hi everyone! So I wanted to share the following idea from ... my wife as she thought it would be fun to display Easter eggs in your windows starting this weekend so the kids in the neighborhood could enjoy an Easter egg Art Hunt as alot of the little ones are missing their Easter egg hunts this year. Feel free to get creative with a theme for your Easter eggs and if anyone wants to expand on this idea suggestions are welcome. Here is an idea: Stuffed bears are being placed in windows to give children a fun and safe activity while walking around their neighbourhood with parents. The hunt is inspired by the children’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, written by UK author Michael Rosen. Teddies have been spotted around the world, including in the UK and US. Send pictures- I’ll post.

Here are some of the pictures hanging in our windows for the scavenger hunt. The suggestion: Just hang a colorful picture in at least one window. Simple, cheap and community building.

Eric would like to bring back an old tradition. The first memory of when Eric moved into this neighborhood back in 2004 was the Halloween Fire Pit Party up on Michael Lane. With that said, he would like to personally invite all of you to (53 Sheffield Lane) for a Fire Pit Social immediately following Trick or Treating. Perfect time to catch up with fellow neighbors!
