SUMMARY: The Beaver County Humane Society Thrift Store offers an active working environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: The person in this position will process all donations, must adhere to company policies, adapt to rotating duties and responsibilities, and be proactive in engaging customers with a sense of urgency and customer service. Duties include: Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times and greet each customer/donor with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude. Assist each customer/donor with all incoming and outgoing donations, issue donation receipts, sort and hang donations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed and put the donations in the proper areas. Vacuum, dust, and recover the sales floor by picking up merchandise, putting it in its proper location, and restock work area daily. Maintain the cleanliness of the store by sweeping, mopping, cleaning the breakroom and restrooms, breaking down boxes, and taking out trash as needed. Display work habits of regular attendance, punctuality, teamwork, initiative, willingness to learn, dependability and promptness. Other duties as needed.
