God loves us with an unrelenting and creative love. The prophet Jeremiah declares that God will institute a new covenant, written not on tablets of stone, but written on the hearts of God's people who broke the old covenant. Through God's faithfulness and intimacy, we discover that God is more interested in us falling in love than falling in line. Join us as we worship and adore our God who loves us without fail. Tithes and offerings may be given online at www.bedfordpresby.com or by mailing them to Bedford Presbyterian Church, PO Box 7, Bedford, PA 15522. Thank you for your generosity!

While we tend to focus on our own need for repentance during Lent, we must also attend to the cleansing of our communal soul. As people who are interconnected to all of creation, and dependent on one another for life, we heed the words of the prophet Joel who called the people to rend their hearts and not their garments. During this time of prayerful reflection, we will consider how caring for one another becomes a spiritual practice.

On the third Sunday of Advent, we celebrate the upcoming arrival of our Savior through songs and shouts of praise as we prepare for him. Elizabeth, in her greeting of Mary, provides a benchmark for rejoicing with others over the good news of salvation in Jesus, even as we wait. In gratitude for all that God has done for us, tithes and offerings may be given through our website, www.bedfordpresby.com, or by sending them to Bedford Presbyterian Church, PO Box 7, Bedford, PA 15522.

In this second week of Advent, we take time to think about how prayer helps prepare us for the arrival of Jesus.
