We're officially open! Like many other businesses in the area, we've switched our sign to "open" for the first time in months. We're excited to finally get back to work! Although we can't wait to welcome our customers back inside our shop, we must ask that you please follow the safety guidelines outlined by our health officials. This includes wearing a mask and maintaining 6-feet of distance when possible. Entry will be prohibited for individuals not wearing a mask. ... We know this may be an inconvenience for us all, but as a small, family-run business, we simply can not afford to risk our health, especially for the sake of comfort or convenience. Our doors open May 15th -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you may be aware, Allegheny has been included in Governor Wolf's updated list of counties that will transition from the red to yellow phase starting next week, May 15th. This means that in-person businesses like ours will be permitted to open and operate so long as health and safety procedures are followed. While we begin our reopening process, we wanted to reassure our cust...omers that your health and safety are paramount. To this end, we will be strictly following CDC guidelines during operation, which includes frequently cleaning and sanitizing all contact surfaces, wearing PPE like masks and gloves, and maintaining distance when possible. We are excited to finally have a definitive opening date and look forward to seeing our community again. Starting May 15th, come see what we can do for your sofas, couches, and love seats that have undoubtedly seen extended use during this quarantine.

Reopening News: We're thankful to have received so many messages during quarantine from customers who are looking to have their furniture reupholstered. First and foremost, we wanted to thank everyone for keeping us in mind when there are no doubt many other concerns to manage. We also wanted to let everyone know that we are just as anxious to get back to work as you all are to have your sofas, love seats, cushions, and more redone. ... With that said, our tentative reopening date will be May 8th. This will coincide with the beginning of Governor Wolf's multi-phased reopening plan for our state. As much as we would love to re-open immediately, we feel that it's important to adhere to these data-driven guidelines, not just for the health and safety of our family and our customers, but also to make sure that the sacrifices our community has made since lock-down weren't in vain. Circumstances surrounding COVID-19 have necessitated a change to our April 1st re-opening deadline. With the new quarantine guidelines, we, like many other businesses, we will remain closed through April. We will continue to keep you all updated with our plans going forward as the situation develops. In response to the statewide shutdown of non-essential businesses, Bellas Upholstery will be closed until April 1st. We will continue working on the furniture we currently have in-shop, but will not be open to customers during this time. However, we will remain available online to offer free estimates, schedule pick-ups/deliveries to take place after the shutdown, or answer any other furniture-related questions you may have.
