Today is Gold Star Mother's Day which is observed annually in the United States on the last Sunday of September. It is a day to recognize and honor mothers who have lost a son or daughter while serving the United States Armed Forces.
The Parade Committee is looking for a meeting room. Our home at the Red Cross office isn't available for the foreseeable future. Our meetings are the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Our next meeting is Wednesday. September 9. Please message us with any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
