Berwyn Fire Company rescuers were once again called to Glenhardie Rd. and Richards Rd. in Tredyffrin Township at 10:50 p.m. for a water rescue. One occupant was safely removed from their vehicle. Please DO NOT pass barricades, cones or caution tape if you encounter those in your travels. These are in place for your safety! While the rain has slowed down, we are still seeing flash flooding conditions in the area. Thank you to Jefferson Fire Company No. 1 for responding with their boat. While ultimately not required, we appreciate the quick response.
There are multiple flooded roadways in Tredyffrin Township and Easttown Township. Use caution, please stay off the roads if you can. Do not pass barricades! Do not drive through flowing water! The high winds may cause trees and power lines to come down over the next several hours. Contact PECO directly using their app or 800-841-4141 to report power outages.
