One of my least favorite days of the year is prepping for a freeze. First we have to gather as many crops as possible, say goodbye to many crops we have cared for all season. And then cover as many things as possible. We are exhausted. Cuddle up with something tonight, its gonna get cold.

Sage, ginger, parsley and kabocha squash. Sounds like a great soup to me. And lastly we have Kabocha. The kittens are all named after squash.
