Instead of being content with the image you have of yourself and how good you may think of your shot, try asking critical questions that will help you grow. You can always do better. Listen to your coaches. Set your phone up and record yourself shooting the same shot over ...and over again, and then see the differences in every shot. Then move. Then switch your shot scenario, and keep asking yourself: why is this shot different from the last shot? What can I do to get better? Who can I ask to help me be more critical of me getting better in a positive manner? Practicing your form is most important in today’s game. There is no excuse anymore - your height does not give you a free pass not to work on your shot. In fact, the taller you are, the more you should be working on your form, because more likely than not you’ve been pigeonholed as the #5 on your team, and historically speaking the #5s don’t shoot. Right? If you’re a teenager, then how do you know how tall you’re going to be? So why are you relying on somebody telling yo...u that your shot doesn’t matter?
