Good morning y'all ! Here we are almost mid-February into 2021 ... Whew ! What a year last year was ... Hoping things will be or get better this year. Are y'all thinking about the coming growing season yet ? We've been getting new seed, plug, liner and plant catalogs since November. Heirloom varieties, new and improved varieties and there's so much to choose from and so many decisions to be made ... After completing 21 seasons here at the farm, I've kept it no secret that ...I took early (62) retirement last October and with the new kids starting on the block, I may just be thinking about slowing down a little bit . After all, we've gained another grand-daughter in October (that makes4), lost the matriarch of the family later that same month, and we're having a grand-son in March ! How excited we are ! But, we're going to hang in there again this season with our anticipated and customary opening about a week before Mothers Day. Good afternoon and Merry Christmas eve from us here at the farm to all of our friends, family and wonderful customers! So far we've made it through much of this difficult year and are hoping that 2021 will be a better year. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you that helped to support our endeavors this past season and truly hope to see you all again when we open in the Spring with our quality, locally grown flowers and plants. While admittedly we can't gr...ow everything we sell, we can guarantee you, our customers, that our suppliers are local (both PA & NY) and have been in the business for many years by standing behind the products and plants we sell. Hmmm ... Well now ... I'm not impressed. A woman named Millie called, mind you, after advertised closing date, well after. She asked if I could help her out with her situation ... I tried, I accepted an appointment with her, at her convenience mind you ... Well after an hour and a half (1- hrs), she is a no show, not even the courtesy of a call ... I'm getting ready to lock it up and go about with my own matters ... Friends, if y'all need something and I can help, I'll try, but have some common courtesy, that's all I ask. Rant over.

"It's a beautiful day in Pennsylvania" and a couple of noon time visitors ... one even walked herself into the old dog kennel ...

Good evening folks. Hoping y'all had a good day. Just a reminder that even though we're closed for the season, we are open for appts. We still have Apples, squash and some honey available. Why pay more than 69 cents a pound when you can get locally produced apples and squash for that price. And we also have pint jars of honey for just $5 a pint or 2/$9 !... Give me a call and we'll try to be as convenient for y'all as we can.
