Our online store is now OPEN for Pre-Ordering for Malvern Farmers Market. (No Eagleview this week!) We are stocked with delicious Spring goodies. Hope to see you all Saturday!! [REMINDER: Malvern Market is now weekly from 9 to 12noon and Eagleview is now weekly from 3-6pm]. We have to clear out the tunnels for Summer crops so we are coming on Saturday with the abundance!! We will also be pushing out our Garden Starts next week online 5/3 and in person at markets. We will also have some super groovy macrame plant hangers (made by my Mama) and a few other Mothers Day surprises.

A wise farmer once said to me "bean seed is cheap!!"...so we planted the beans today and crossed my fingers that we won't have a repeat of last seasons first succession. We will double cover them and layer with plastic IF we must. Ha! We hand weeded some of the tunnel, sowed 5 beds of a rainbow of beans, trellises the sugar snap peas, covered the beds back up after yesterdays cultivation and picked a few goodies for dinner. We had poor germination on 4 40ft beds of baby green...s., so we tilled them in and sowed again. This is what being a farmer is. Hard decision making, constant trial and error. Adapting daily. It will be 31 on Thurs morning and extremely windy for 3 days in a row. Time to brace the farm for the extremes we face at our property every Spring.
