11-1-21 Box 356 Harris Twp. 235 Copper Leaf Ln. Fire-Chief Call 12:27 pm. Reported Cat stuck in a tree. Chief 3 and 3-2 responded to assist a cat out a tree. Chief 3-2 stated the cat was very friendly and pleased to be out of the tree.

Some of the funniest entertainment this evening came from Kacey Weyant and his hoverboard antics. So much fun can come from a hoverboard, a siren app on a cell phone, a blue tooth speaker and some Fire Police Lights. This guy keeps us laughing.

Winter Weather Advisory

This evening at our monthly meeting the Boalsburg Fire Company approved the purchase of a Pierce Velocity PUC Engine/Rescue from Glick Fire Equipment. The committee has been working for over a year doing research and coming to the decision to bring another Pierce to Boalsburg. Stay tuned for further details as this project moves forward.

Do you have a vehicle you are no longer in need of? Would you like to help out your local Fire Company? The Boalsburg Fire Company is always looking for vehicles to be used for training. These vehicles are used to train our members on vehicle stabilization and patient extrication technique's. Your vehicle need not run. We will come pick it up if it can not be driven to the station. All we ask is that you have a title available available so the vehicle can be signed over to the Fire Company. Please join us in prayer for our fallen brother. On February 8, 2021, at approximately 2100 hours, Trooper Monty R. Mitchell returned to station after advising... that he was not feeling well. While backing a marked unit into its stall, Trooper Mitchell suffered a medical episode. Members on station provided life saving measures while awaiting EMS response. Attempts to revive Trooper Mitchell were unsuccessful and he was pronounced deceased an hour later at Penn Highlands Hospital. Trooper Mitchell enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in November 2007. He was assigned to the Patrol Section of Troop C, DuBois at the time of his death. He had also been assigned to Troop G, Huntingdon and Troop C, Ridgway during his career with the Department. A graduate of the 126th cadet class, Trooper Mitchell was 45 years old. #Hero #GrayNation #WeShallNeverForget

Happy Birthday To Chief 3-1 Nate Frey from all of us at The 3 House

On December 22 the Boalsburg Fire Company will hold the annual Santa Run. Santa Claus will be escorted throughout our coverage area on our Fire Company apparatus. Units will head out at 5:45 pm. Members will all be wearing masks and gloves as they give out treats to those who come out to see us. Keep an eye out for flashing lights and listen for the sounds of sirens and air horns as Santa arrives in your neighborhood. We look forward to seeing everyone during our favorite ride of the year.
