My wife started going to Body Blueprint & I noticed her results & I figured I’d give it a shot. Before I came to BBP, I always thought I ate pretty healthy, but when I started tracking what I actually ate with my trainer, it wasn’t nearly as good as I thought. I’ve always been pretty active & frequently went to the gym, but I struggled getting the results that I wanted. Mike at BBP taught me how to get a more effective workout & how to push my body past its limits. ... I joined initially for the personal training, but the accountability is what I needed to keep moving forward. I really like that if I have an injury or need to change the routine, Mike is able to tailor the workout on the fly. I’ve become friends with the trainers & members. Everyone that goes wants to see each other succeed. Since I joined BBP, I’ve gained a tremendous amount of muscle while eliminating my ‘Dad Bod’ & continuing to move more weight. I’ve also completed OCRs which test your aerobic capacity & physical strength. It was something I never had an interest in but working with Mike has made me want to test my physical capacity in new ways. My workout routine has made me healthier both physically & mentally. My wife & I both train at BBP, the friendly competition between us has made our marriage stronger & more entertaining. We’ve heard numerous times I’ve tried that, it didn’t work for me. relating to health and nutrition specifically. In most cases, you didn’t TRY consistently for 6 months. Maybe you gave it a week or two, maybe 1 month. And were you truly CONSISTENT in your efforts? Be honest. Probably not. ... When you start toward a health or fitness goal, hunker down into that commitment. Give it SIX MONTHS of consistent effort. Not only does this give you time to see the results (which don’t come quickly), but this also helps you lock in habits that will benefit you for the long term. Commit to 6 months of consistent work. ***Testimonial Thursday*** I decided to join BBP because I was ready to make a change in my overall health. I have always been very active and was physically in good shape for most of my life. When I went back to grad school I developed some bad eating and lifestyle habits that caused me to gain weight. I just overall felt terrible about myself and just could not lose the weight or get into a consistent workout routine at home. I realized it was time to look at other options.... My sister-in-law had told me what a great experience she had at body blueprint and I decided to make that first consultation meeting with Christie. At my first meeting I joined BBP and started the 28 day challenge. This provided me with accessibility to workouts, nutrition and accountability meetings.
