So this blurry image of Erica sparked so much emotion for me when I was going through the images to make a blog post . Last year I started to do self portraits and stopped ..... I stopped because life got busy. I had too many other things going on. I had more important things to do. So now I sit here with what seems to be all the time in the world to do things I want . But at times I feel numb, frozen, sad, non driven , scared, etc. l realize time and time again during... all of this it’s only human to feel these ways about the state of the world, the state of our lives, the state of our mind . But this image alone sparked something that made me remember all these ideas I have to go create work for me ... and me alone . And this week I will be starting my self portraits back up to dive into my crazy mind and express how I see things . See more
