Rest In Peace ~ Roots&Wings Facilitating Healing location in the Atrium Building in Quakertown. This location is now closed. One door closes another door opens...read on. In August, my office was flooded from the tropical storm Isaias. Contaminated water flooded up to 2 feet high and stayed for 12 hours. Not much to salvage, especially in a pandemic. I had to say goodbye to 10 years of building my massage, yoga and Ayurveda practice and the future that I saved equipmen...t for (collecting massage tables for offering continuing ed classes). I lost a total of $20,000 in damages that I have not recovered completely. The trauma from this storm has sent me into a place of retreat and waiting. Waiting til I had the courage to tell everyone and face the sadness I feel from such a huge professional loss. Gratefully, Dr. Malmad at Chiropractic Healing Arts allowed me to rent her massage room temporarily and bring my clientele to her practice. Operating in a pandemic is already a lot to manage and she welcomed me with open arms. That helped me stay in practice helping my clients who wanted to keep their regular massage appointments. Now for the door that is open. MY NEW LOCATION!! I've been inspired by the space and sanctuary at Shanteel ever since they opened in 2018. I decided to call Claudine to see if she could help me find a new location. And the UNIverse (and Claudine) said YES! I now have a new location that opened last week in Shanteel Yoga Sanctuary. It feels amazing to be part of a wellness center and yoga school. Offering my services for Ayurvedic-spa and Jin Shin Jyutsu, with my whole massage menu, is such a great match! It feels like the perfect refuge for my Boutique Wellness Retreat to continue offering the creative quality that drives my purpose.
