This is a very simplified explanation of our current recommendations. Please read and consider vaccination and masking when indoors in public or in crowded settings. Not perfect, but the best we can do to limit spread and the disease impact.

My physician and nurse friends in the south are already getting slaughtered with the influx of Covid patients. I’m afraid we will experience the same, in an already critically short staffed region up here. Please get your Covid vaccine. I can understand the initial hesitation, but over 4.3 billion doses have now been given worldwide and almost 350k in the US alone. If the data doesn’t convince you, just think how many people you know that have been seriously ill or died from Covid compared to how many you know that have been seriously ill or died from the shot. It’s very clearCovid disease is astronomically more risky! And wear your mask in close spaces to protect the vulnerable immunocompromised people that don’t develop full immunity from the vaccine. Let’s do what we can to limit the effects on our community.

Happy Nurses Day to our fabulous nurses -Nancy, Sara and Amy and to all the nurses that provide care to our patients.

State sponsored testing will be available in Bradford starting 1/20/2021 without doc order or reason. Also BRMC will continue testing Monday thru Friday morning as arranged thru PCP offices. Finally open testing in McKean County at least for these dates.
