Christmas gift from Julie’s dad!
Another abandoned bike. Rescued and waiting for someone to claim....
Another room of flooring installed.
Took advantage of JV’s hybrid schedule to make new window decorations. Also, the community events calendar is back! Let us know if you or your group has an event you would like added.
An entire dump truck worth of destruction happened Saturday! Tearing down walls and ceilings to make running electric and plumbing easier. That and this girl is NOT scraping anymore wall/ceiling paper. We couldn’t finish all we wanted to since we filled the dump truck, but still a very productive day. Thanks to Taylor’s, Russell’s, and Musser’s for your help!
Over the last couple weeks, we have torn down the plaster and lath in the apartment entry way and the wall on the other side of the entry way, and removed a closet. At some point, pieces of metal were used to cover holes in the lath, then covered over with sheets of metal or fiberboard. Some of the hole coverings were plain, but others were hidden gems!
Took a break from working on the apartments to expose some brick on the shop side
We’ve been pretty busy the last couple weeks trying to get the apartment ready for our fabulous tenets. Aside from some trim, baseboards, crown molding, the powder room, and entry, the apartment is finished! Huge thank you to everyone that helped the last couple weeks!
Kitchen flooring is done. Thanks to Adam Bergstein, Adam Steele, Tanner Hutchison and a few Somerses for their hard work removing the old and installing the new.
Bathroom tiling done for the apartment. Julie is awesome.
Although it's been done for a couple of weeks, we haven't posted pics of the porch upgrade. Thanks again to DreamMaker Homes for the new decking and supports. (We'll be doing the railings at some point, but REALLY needed to get the decking and supports fixed because they were deteriorating quickly.)
New windows are now all in! Thanks to DreamMaker Homes!
Anyone with skills to replicate this base board for us? (I can provide better details)
Burning the ridiculous amount of cardboard left by the previous owner is the perfect job for the book worm!
