Bridge Disability Ministries

We are focused on strengthening connections within families, volunteers and staff, but ultimately we focus on each individual connecting with God. Then countless lives are impacted. At Calvary Church, we believe that when you connect with God your life is impacted, and when you connect with others God, through you, can impact their lives.

We’re constantly looking at our programs and offerings, and asking ‘how can we do this better?’ In 2021, we are building on current programs to make them more accessible, not only within Bridge, but at Calvary Church as a whole. We prioritize working alongside ministries and participants, to enable them to thrive in their environments.

Lights Along the Lane Behind the Scenes! It takes so many gifts and talents to make an event come to life! The Bridge Team has printed an interactive surprise for everyone that drives through Friday and Saturday! Bridge has always been a flexible ministry, but Covid has allowed us increase our flexibility so we can best meet the needs of our community, participants, volunteers, and staff. We approach ministry with an others first mindset and will do whatever it takes to include and serve the community impacted by disability in the most practical and personal ways possible.

Sunday, our Bridge students heard that families can worship and tell about God. Priscilla and Aquila learned more about Jesus and helped others learn that Jesus is God’s Son.

Today is Black Friday, and we’re encouraging your family to shop! But not for yourself! This year Calvary is doing the Oxford Circle Toy Store, in a new virtual format. We’re working with a limited number of partners in Philadelphia this year and you have the opportunity to help parents create Christmas memories with their kids. This is a great way to get your whole family involved in giving this season!
