The events of 2020 and our response reinforced our commitment to our mission. Bridgeway made more loans in 2020 than in any other year in its history, with 93% of the dollars lent going to projects located in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods. The average loan size decreased by 50%, reflecting a shift to lend more to smaller businesses most affected by the pandemic.
