Lisa Scott, President, presents a check for $400 to Penn Garvin and Doug Orbaker for La Escuelita, a school in Nicaragua. For several years the Kiwanis Club has sponsored two children so they could attend school at La Escuelita.

Buffalo Valley Kiwanis Club provided a grant to teachers Amy Lowe-Matakaitis and Shannon Sheaffer to fund a reading project for first grade students in the Lewisburg School District. With this grant teachers will be able to set up a listening center using QR codes so that children can listen and follow along as they read.
