#transformationthursday #2021 Leah’s will bring you to tears! of @burnbootcampburlingtonnc Two years ago, I walked through the doors of Burn Boot Camp Burlington drowning in depression, anxiety and anger. I hadn't taken care of myself in years, and I lost myself when I lost my husband Jonathan.... I walked in to a gym full of high-fives and encouragement. I walked in to the positive energy and the support that I so desperately needed. My Burn family was part of all my "firsts" without my husband. Without even knowing it, Burn helped carry me through that first year. My first year at Burn was about taking care of my mental health. Year 2 has been about my physical health. After spending dedicated time working on my mental health, I felt ready to tackle my physical health. In my second year, I committed to my exercise, to my nutrition, to my sleep, and to taking care of my body. I feel stonger, healthier, more energized, and happier. In my two-year journey, I've lost nearly 40 lbs, over 20 inches, and nearly 15% body fat. But I've gained oh so much more!! I've gained muscle mass, and confidence, I've gained energy and joy, I've gained an amazing Burn family and unconditional support. But most importantly, I've gained my smile, my health, my life.....and myself back. -Leah Tilden

It's Transformation Tuesday! Meet Jenny! Jenny is a working wife, and momma of 3! After finding Burn, she's down 25lbs, 15.5 inches, and 9.2% body fat! Most importantly, she "now knows she is WORTH making time for!" - We LOVE this! Check out Jenny's story in her own words below! ... "When I joined Burn, I felt defeated with no hope. I had tried fad diets, only to always fail. I had always been a member of a large gym, but there was never any accountability. There was always an excuse of why I couldn't lose weight, work out or cook healthy meals. The everyday stresses of life and managing it all had left me feeling out of control. I initially tried the 30-day trial when Burn opened. I was immediately hooked! I loved that every class was different. It was never dull or repetitive. I didn't immediately sign up after the 30 days due to an upcoming surgery. When the new year rolled around and I was clear to work out, I knew I had to join. I knew I needed to take control of something in my life, and THIS journey of health and fitness was going to be how I was going to take control. My journey is far from over, but for the first time in a long time I feel hopeful, energetic and in control! I started with Burn in January 2017 and have lost 25 pounds, 15.5 inches and 9.2% body fat. I now know I am worth making time for! I deserve to be happy and healthy. This mindset has done wonders for my mental healtheven my boss told me, "You just look and act happier. Do better.... 4Detoxes, skinny teas, cleanses, diet pills, and fast-fix false promises of all kinds. 5Following social accounts and influencers that aren’t feeding your self worth - if it doesn’t make you feel good, unfollow it. 6Self-limiting beliefs - ‘I can’t’ and ‘I’ll never’ don’t belong in your vocabulary.
