Strong winds are expected across all of Central Pennsylvania Firday. Gusts up to 60mph are possible in the Laurel Highlands, with widespread gusts in excess of 40mph elsewhere. Strongest winds will occur between 6am and 6pm on Friday.Strone Winds may result in broken limbs, down trees, and power outages. Highway travel maybe difficult, especially high profile vehicles. Be prepared, have a plan, and be safe.

The National Weather Service State College shows Cambria County in a High Wind Watch. Strong winds will buffet central Pa Friday. A High Wind Watch has been posted for the central mountains, where gusts to 60 mph are possible. Scattered power outages are possible due to downed tree limbs and power lines. Outdoor burning may cause severe brush fires, be mindful and think safety first.
