Sad news from the Poconos this weekend, as we lost another WARRIOR. Timothy Cherney was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. Despite having every l...egitmate reason to moan, bitch, or cry he always had a grin on his face and he was ALWAYS ready to make music. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't a cheerleader... to date he has leveled some of the greatest slams my way I've ever heard - each and every one well-deserved by me. Tim was a real person, living in the real world. If he cared about you, you had a friend forever. If he didn't care about you, it's probably because you're a jerk. I've been both and I'm unbelievably sorry to have not continued to stay in touch after I moved south. People like Tim are why we need to cure cancer sooner than later because we simply can't afford to keep losing awesome people. Rest in peace, Tim

Lansford Alive is interested in hearing f...rom people who live in and around Lansford, and the conversation will be moderated by Lansford Alive member Joe Krushinsky. This conversation is one of several that we will be having with people over a period of months. Each one is a chance for us to better understand people’s aspirations for the community, the concerns they have and what they believe might make a difference in strengthening the community.
