Lea was asking before Christmas as we were looking for ugly sweaters, What is it with all this LLAMA stuff? I said they’re just cute. Maybe it was a herald. I hope everyone I know is doing well!

I am honored to belong to the medical profession, but I sit far from the frontlines of the heroic efforts of my colleagues. Much of what I do can be postponed a month or two if necessary. Emergencies in my practice are rare. My efforts are concentrated on the patients with diabetes and high blood pressure, and obesity, each of which can increase the risks of complications associated with COVID-19. I want my patients with pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal disorders to maintain... optimal therapy to keep their stamina up. I meet with my patients to be sure they’re aware of COVID-19 news and updates. We reassure each other that everything will be okay in the end, and I finish each conversation with stay safe and stay well.

This quite helpful. Most people don’t spend 20 seconds to wash their hands (sing the Happy Birthday song twice). This quick video shows how to wash every bit of your hands using an easy routine. Any less, is not good enough! #washyourhands #staysafe #staywell

Loss of sense of taste and/or smell may be a symptom of coronavirus. No cause for alarm, it’s just another hint that one might be infected and take additional isolation measures. #staysafe #staywell

I don't have any science to back this up, but it sounds good to me! Japanese doctors treating COVID-19 cases... Everyone should ensure your mouth and throat are moist, NEVER DRY. ... Take a few sips of water every 15 minutes at least. WHY? Even if the virus gets into your mouth, drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your esophagus and into the stomach. Once they’re in your tummy, the ACID will kill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water frequently, virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That's very dangerous.
