While these Facebook surveys look harmless, they can give individuals answers to your security questions on your account. Never reveal personal information. Hackers can trick you into clicking on malicious links as well. Take quizzes only from respected websites and always carefully vet ones that ask for your email address to access the poll or quiz. Never put your password into these sites (especially ones you are not familiar with).

Scam Alert from Patton Township Police The Patton Township Police Department reports an increase in fraudulent contacts to residents seeking personal informatio...n. Officer Rob Carter reminds all "to be vigilant in verifying the legitimacy of any type of email, phone call, text message, etc, where a request for money, gift cards, or personal information is involved." Fraudulent calls, contacts can be reported by contacting the Dispatch Center at 911 or 1-800-479-0050.
