The members of the Chief Logan Volunteer Fire Department are truly saddened to hear of untimely passing of Mike Force, Investigator 12 of the Lewistown Fire Department. Mike provided his services to Derry Township and other local fire departments for years. Our prayers to the Lewistown Fire Department. Special thoughts and prayers to our own Captain 2, Troy Force who is Mike's son.... Our Department will always be grateful for the services Mike provided to us over the years. God bless the Force family.

After the wreath laying the participating members stopped to say hello to past member Ken Earnest. May you Rest In Peace Ken and keep watching over us all, until we meet again.

Several members of the department participated in the Wreaths Across America’s annual wreath laying today at the Mount Rock Cemetery in Lewistown. The event was able to honor 142 veterans resting in the cemetery this year. Thank you to everyone involved for such a great way to say thank you to the military veterans that have fought for our country. We hope this will be a new tradition for the department and are looking forward to next year.

With the pending storm please help all of your local fire departments by clearing hydrants. Thanks to Lancaster County EMA for the photo.

A huge Thank You to Mammoth Restoration for disinfecting both fire stations of the Chief Logan Volunteer Fire Department. Thanks to Chief Barlett of the Lewistown Fire Department for his help in making the arrangements. One more thing we can do in an effort to protect our members to ensure we can still serve the public.
