Working on a gift for a good friend. Amish hauled the sewing machine base in to the scrap yard and I hauled it out. I’m making a repurposed pallet wood top for it. Sanding smooth, staining and polyurethaning to come yet.

Checking out Stepp West

This branch fell into a neighbors field so I drug it in for firewood. After cutting and splitting this beautiful blue in this equally awesome grain showed up. Now wish I'd had it sawn into some live edge table tops. Picture doesn't do the color justice. Wonder if it'd stay that color...

Thanks to a long time family friend there is slate roofing in inventory. Couple different projects already in mind.
