Food box distribution will take place from my district office at 6730 Torresdale Avenue today at 10 am while supplies last. Food supply is very, very limited today. Thank you to Caring for Friends for stepping up to provide emergency food supplies today. When Caring for Friends found out that we were short on food for our community, they stepped up right away and provided a van full of food. They are an amazing organization that knows that in this world, there is no reason for anyone to be hungry or alone.

Yesterday was World Stroke Day. Over 13 million people will have a stroke this year and around 5.5 million people will die as a result. Stroke can have different short- and long-term effects depending on which part of the brain is affected and how quickly it is treated. The most important thing you can do is act FAST!
