The kindergarteners certainly showed their school spirit for Spirit Week last week. The themes were: Mismatch Monday, Favorite Holiday, work Wednesday (pick a career), class Theme Thursday, and Farm Friday.

The CCCS soccer senior night was held last Friday. Congrats to our senior soccer players, Izzy Kessler, Caleb Yocum, Josh Manges, Ben Clippinger, & Austin George.

Miss Kheyfets' 6th grade class had a blast last Monday building structures from chopsticks, fettuccini and marshmallows for science class.

The United Nations Ambassador for the arts, Ibiyinka Alao from Nigeria, spent a day with Mrs. Runkle's art classes this week. He shared his exquisite art with the students as well as his deep faith that inspires him. He challenged the students to go out and be ambassadors for Columbia County Christian School, and most importantly, ambassadors for Christ. Ibiyinka also took the time to give the students a watercolor lesson. His visit to the school has been a highlight to a year filled with challenges. Ibiyinka will be sharing his work at NC church on Oct. 16th &17th -5:00-8:00 PM

We had a successful fundraiser today with Mr. Sticky’s and Bason’s Coffee. Mr. And Mrs. Massey provided free coffee to our faculty and friends. Volunteers helped box Mr. Sticky’s orders. Thank you to everyone who supported CCCS! There were extra sticky buns which will be for sale tomorrow (October 10th) for $4 each at our 20th Anniversary Celebration.

We had beautiful weather for our Race for Education! It’s not too late to send in your donation if you haven’t yet.
