Corkum Tree Farm 22.01.2021

UPDATE ON TREE INVENTORY. WE ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT! Due to high demand for Christmas trees this year we are close to being sold out of all our trees. We still have a few odds and ends, so if you are in need of a tree read on. If we could bring in more trees or cut more trees we would, but those aren’t options at this time. ... HOURS: Our hours have changed. As of Wednesday December 16th our hours are now 9-5 every day until Christmas. PRE CUT TREES: We have less than 10 left! We brought in more this year than ever, and spent last weekend cutting what we could from our fields, but there simply isn’t any more to harvest. CHOOSE AND CUT: Similar position to our pre cuts. Our fields are exhausted from many families cutting their own tree. At this time we have made the decision to close all of our fields to ensure we have trees for next Christmas. BALLED AND BURLAPPED: We have approximately 15 trees left. A mix of Norway spruce and white pine ranging from 5-7 feet tall. GREENS: We have a small selection of wreaths, swags and arrangements available. We also have bundles of greens, holly and winterberry for purchase. If you have any specific questions feel free to message us. If you have to look elsewhere for a tree, we encourage you to call around, as many farms are in the same position.

MPORTANT UPDATE ON TREE INVENTORY! Due to the incredible support from so many people we are low on trees and want you to know what to expect if you haven’t bought a tree already. -Choose and Cut... We are very limited on choose and cut trees. Starting Friday December 11th we will open only Four fields for cutting down trees. This decision had to be made to insure we have inventory for future years. The choices in these four fields are limited! -Pre Cut We are limited on our pre cut trees. We were very fortunate that @hillfarms38 had 50 extra trees for us, which we picked up today. As of today, we have Fraser Fir Nordmann/Turkish Fir , Douglas Fir Concolor Fir and Blue Spruce. We expect that by the end of Saturday we will be out of pre cut fir trees. We will continue to cut spruces from our other property once we run out of firs. We plan to have pre cuts trees till Christmas, but the selection will be limited in numbers and species. -Balled and burlap: We are down to less than 10 trees, but we will have 50 more next week. Thank you for the support and for understanding. If you have any specific questions feel free to message us. #corkumtreefarm #christmastree #christmastrees #christmas

Wow!! What an incredible two days we have had at the farm. Friday and Saturday were some of busiest days we have experienced over the years. For that we are truly grateful. We know during this time it’s a privilege to be open with an outdoor business. There are many businesses that aren’t as lucky as we are . We have been and will continue to take our employees and customers safety as a priority.... Many of the changes we made seem to be helping expedite the process and expand our waiting area so people can maintain safe distances from one another. Our employees will continue to wear masks and we ask everyone coming to the farm to wear a face covering. It’s not ideal for our employees to wear a face covering while doing heavy lifting, but we know that it’s important to protect everyone at this time. We hope everyone has felt safe on our property and we appreciate the patience as we attempt to give everyone the service they are used to. Lastly we’d like to say that operating a Christmas tree farm is a lot of work. However it is all worth it to see so many people come and enjoy our space and give us back positivity during this time. It has been a bleak year in many ways, thanks for brightening up our lives. Your enthusiasm and joy in coming to our farm is not lost on us and it helps to give us the energy we need. On behalf of all the staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, James, John and Alice Corkum
