Corsello's Kenpo Karate

Dear Corsello’s Kenpo Karate Families, We hope that all of our families are staying safe during these troubling and uncertain times. We as a school know that in times such as these, we look for familiar routines to ease the uncertainty. With that in mind, Corsello’s is working tirelessly to provide an online component for all of our students to continue their training, practice their skills, and even test remotely so that their martial arts journeys are not impacted by curren...t restrictions. In order for us to provide you with the instruction and information that you will need, we are asking all students and their families to provide us with a valid email address, the current belt that they are working on, and the immediate goal that they are working toward, be it the next stripe, the test for the next belt, or beginning study on a new belt. Please email me that information to (corsmike15yahoo.com). We will then reach out to each student with a packet containing the techniques and forms for the level that you are working on and request that you reply with anything that you need visual assistance with. We will provide videos and the ability to virtually chat with an instructor about your at home work. We will have the ability to watch your practice through either recorded videos or a virtual meeting and then provide feedback. We hope that offering this option will help our families stay active in the martial arts over the coming weeks. We are a small business, and as such we appreciate and need the continued financial assistance from our families. Rent will still be owed on the school during the shut down, so we have made it our mission to provide quality instruction in the safest, most effective way that we can while following the government’s regulations on gathering in public. Students of Corsello's Kenpo Karate school, as per the directive from the Govenor of Pennsylvania, the karate school is closed for possibly the next two weeks. We will post updates as we get them. We will also make up any lost time by adding classes and free private lessons when we are able to open again. More information to follow. Please be safe and take care of yourselves. To teach is to learn twice. ~ Joseph Joubert Ms. Anna teaching our Little Eagles all of the parts of a front kick: chamber, kick, rechamber, put it back. We build the foundations of awesome kicks by learning the basics first. Here, our Little Eagles are using the wall to support them as the slowly go through all of the parts of their kicks.
