Attention Cottage seven students & parents, With many of our surrounding districts cancelling transportation and the road conditions not improving at a fast enough rate, cottage seven has decided to close in person education today. We will have an asynchronous learning day with a brief instructor check in for the students.

ATTENTION Cottage Seven Families, Thursday February 11th will be 2hr delay for all Cottage Seven students.

Every Friday we are taking nature hikes along French creek . Last week we noticed a line of painted rocks along the trail. Our kids wanted to take part, so we are dropping our decorated rocks along the trail as well!

Good Morning! The day has started off great. The kids are doing a great job following the guidelines. We are looking for a used refrigerator or freezer for our kitchen we haven't had much luck on marketplace. Let us know if you know of someone looking to sell one! Thanks!

We put together a rough edit of a video going over our new precautions and new school building! Special thanks to Fiona and Bret for helping with the demonstration.

This is our 2020-2021 Plan for reopening schools. We will be releasing a video later this week demonstrating how the students will arrive, be checked in and move in the hallways. We will continue to update this plan based on feedback and ever-changing health and safety expectations. Getting settled into our new school! We will be open for tours and review of our safety plan for the week of 9-1-20. Excited to see students in the hallways starting 9-8-20!!!

Good Morning Cottage Seven Academy Family! Last night we were approved to lease the East Pikeland Elementary School building in Phoenixville School District. It is a great looking school building with tons of open and accessible green space surrounding the building. At Cottage Seven we are doing our very best to ensure we can provide and in-person option for instruction for our entire school year. As long as participating districts and the state allow our students to at...tend we will be serving our students and families in our new school building. With that said we will be releasing our intensive measures to ensure everyones safety upon return. Once all the families have had a chance to review our plan for re-entry you will have a chance to choose to attend school either part or full time. Much like our school district partners we will be offering a virtual option as well. Essentially the students in the classrooms will submit their work and receive the assignments on the same platform as the students receiving virtual. This will allow us to keep the students on the same level of service. If for any reason any one student needs to stay home for an extended period of time they can do so without disruption to the instructional plan. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we worked tirelessly to find a new location after our Edgewood Lease was not renewed. We are very appreciative and cannot wait to see everyone in the fall!

Good Morning Cottage Seven Academy Families! As some of you may have read in the Mercury, the Pottstown School District has decided not to offer us a 1 year extension on our lease at the Edgewood school. This was brought to our attention just about 4 weeks ago. Although we knew this would be happening and we have been preparing to relocate, this timeline is much faster than we expected. In the meantime we have been working tirelessly to find our new location for the schoo...l and we are very close to finalizing some details. Our new location will be even better and we are looking forward to seeing our students again in person in the fall. We hope everyone stays safe and has a great summer. Attention all parents of ESY eligible students!

To All: I am sure everyone received the news from the Governor already. Please be advised that based on this, Cottage Seven Academy will remain closed until Monday, March 30, 2020.

Dear Parents, With the growing concern of the spread of the COVID-19 VIRUS and it spreading in schools, Cottage Seven Academy has been evaluating and planning on best practices to prevent the potential spread of the virus. Cottage Seven serves students from 12 separate school districts and we want to ensure we do our part in prevention. Therefore, tomorrow Thursday, March, 12, 2020 we will have the students stay home as the team and cleaners disinfect the facility. If you ...have any questions please reach out to me directly.
