Our new prices (which are priced at cost) will be: One Time Consult (a single consultation on one case) - ...$80 (was $110) 24 Hour Consult (multiple consultations for 24 hours on one case) - $105 (was $165) Rechecks (unlimited consults after the first 24 hours) - $45 (was $55) **Please note: Our consultations are only veterinarian to veterinarian and require the examining veterinarian to have established a valid veterinary client-patient relationship. Critical Consults does not provide consultation to anyone other than licensed veterinarians. Our goal is to help hospitals affected by staffing shortages. Perhaps your specialty hospital is short staffed, and those veterinarians who don’t normally see emergency cases are pressed into service. Or perhaps you are a primary care veterinarian forced to handle complex cases because your local emergency or specialty hospital is closed or minimizing appointments due to illness or staffing shortages. The American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care has put together a list of ventilators currently used by the veterinary community that we are willing to loan to human hospitals in need, and are working on generating a list of CRRT machines that we can loan as well. If you know someone in the human medical field (especially in ICU) that needs more ventilators, please contact us and we can share the list. #inthistogether
