This Wednesday a jury awarded my client a verdict that was 10 times what he won before an arbitration panel. State Farm made him jump through every hoop and even appealed an arbitration award that my client would have been happy to accept. The jury was able to see right through their tricks and agreed with me that justice means holding people accountable when they hurt others. "Just nine Philadelphia public schools have certified school librarians." Inquirer article linked below. I am sure that many of you are just like me and can say with confidence that having a library and access to books as a child positively impacted your life as an adult. These kids need this too. The Villanova Inn of Court - of which I am a member - wants to help with this tragedy. We are conducting a book drive for ... one of the Philadelphia schools that does not have a library.
