I encourage all of my fellow bowlers to support your local bowling centers as they reopen and organize once again for league play. Please keep the industry and... our sport going. Consider your equipment and supplies and whether you need to visit the pro shop. Please consider practicing to shake off whatever "ring rust" you will have. Think about buying lunch (if possible) while you are there. Heck, bowl a small tournament even if you probably won't win or even cash. Many centers are local small businesses and need all the help they can get. Please also consider taking precautions such as wearing masks, washing and sanitizing hands and your equipment, not going out when ill, etc. to reduce risks of spreading COVID-19 and other illness. There is room in most bowling centers to social distance so that will help as well. Regardless of your politics or other views, keep in mind were all on the team of humanity. Finally, please support your fellow bowlers in areas where bowling is still shut down. If you see petitions or ways to email local and state officials, please try to do so. Please speak up in discussion groups and chats. Post videos on Social media or YouTube, etc. Many bowling centers have gone out of business over the past few months because of the shutdown, and more will follow without all of us as stakeholders in this industry (Yes, customers are considered stakeholders by the government) using many voices to get the attention of those that need it right now.
