URGENT MESSAGE: Yes, there are currently issues with Google, not directly the responsibility of SESD. ALL Chromebooks should 'Look for Updates" and complete that update ASAP. All teachers are aware of the situation. Please do the updates, and restart.

From our designated Google Tech at SESD: GOOGLE CLASSROOM ISSUES: We are receiving a bunch of calls regarding Google Classroom and it appears to be on Google's end. Unfortunately, it's out of our hands at this time. I was on the phone with a parent and during the phone call, she refreshed the page and it worked. So it's very random. Just keep trying. We are looking further into it, but wanted to try to get an announcement here before we got tons more calls.... Teachers are aware of the current issues.. Technology never works when you want it to! December 1, 2020 we will return to school using our fully virtual platform for instruction. All announcements, a weekly overview, schedules, work, Zoom/Google Meet times are available on your student's Google Classroom with their grade level teacher. Primary teachers will be utilizing the ease of use in Seesaw for student work, but all of the above information is in Google Classroom first.. Be sure to click on the class work in Google Classroom tab to find these things. Please be sure to complete the attendance form daily.
