I stay super busy, exercise, and run around to fight anxiety- the more I move the less I think. It wasn't until yoga made me sit still did I learn to sit in uncomfortable emotions. When I learned that it is OK to feel, it is OK to notice, I am still safe and breathing that I could allow anxiety to be soothed in other ways. No one can run at full capacity all the time- Yoga teaches us to manage life's shifts no matter the state. Yoga has offered me more resilience, the ab...ility to stay still, and has immensely reduced anxiety.
