WE ARE OPEN STARTING TODAY! Regular hours. Monday-Friday 8-6 Saturday 8-4 Sunday 11-4 Please keep in mind we must operate at 50% capacity so unfortunately we cannot have anyone waiting in the shop.... There will be a sign in sheet from today until further notice. Please stop in and write your name down, phone number, type of cut and preferred barber if any. We will call you when it’s your turn and you can wait in the parking lot while we clean the station/tools. We will come out to get you when it’s time! ATTENTION CLIENTS: We know all are eager to get in and get a haircut however, we have never been an appointment based business due to our high walk-in clientele. We have received messages from clients asking us to sign them in at specific times which is fine for Friday, June 26th; but know that after that first day we ask you call the day of around the time you'd like to make your way to the shop so we as barbers are on schedule with every client that walks through the door. In addition, we will only be accepting CASH until further notice. We appreciate your Patience and cooperation and are ecstatic to see you all!! -DeVoes

OK GUYS FRIDAY IS OUR OPEN DATE! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY: To our valued clients! Due to Covid-19 we have implemented some changes in our shop. We kindly ask that you read and adhere to the following:... If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms or have in the last 48 hours, please come back another day: fever, cough, body aches, and any other flu-like symptoms. If you have been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus please wait 14 days before coming back. Face masks are required upon entry, and must be fastened around the ears so we will be able to cut around them without removal. Do not bring anyone with you to the shop who is not receiving a haircut. We are only allowed one client per barber plus ONLY ONE client waiting in the shop at a time. Families getting cut or one guardian with the family are allowed to wait together. We are expecting longer wait times and will be having a signin sheet so you will be able to see how many people are ahead of you and can plan accordingly. If you have a preferred barber please write that barbers name next to your name. Please provide a phone number you can be reached by. Please wait until the next barber calls you over to her chair so she is able to properly disinfect all tools, equipment, chair and station. Please utilize the parking lot across the street and park on the street when possible. ONLY park in front of the shop if you are next to be serviced. Until further notice, we will no longer be offering beard trims. We’d like to thank all of you for your loyalty to our shop and please be patient with us as we reopen and all get used to these changes! None of this would be possible without you! To our amazing clients!! Lackawanna county will be going green Friday June 26! DeVoes staff will be thawing this coming week to discuss any new policies and procedures we must abide by and once we have everything in line we will be posting them here. As of right now it’s looking like we will be having a sign in sheet for all clients as we are only allowed to be at 50% capicity. We are on the lookout for a different card processing machine/company so while we do this we will only be accepting cash-bills $50 and smaller. Ok guys. We have all heard about HR836 passing, which ends the governors disaster declaration. Unfortunately things are still very clouded on what this means. We have heard conflicting reports: We have heard that the state of PA is no longer under the emergency declaration the governor put forth in March. We have heard we are still following the governors color system for reopening, which leaves us in the yellow at this time i.e: still closed (per his press conference ...today.) We have heard we will be fined if we open before we hit the green phase (per his press conference today) and we have heard we are all good to go by Friday. So as you can see we have no concrete answer. Please bare with us. We are not guaranteeing anything at this moment in time. We are very excited at the prospect of opening this week or next week but as of now nothing is guaranteed and we are staying closed/as is, until we have the right answer. As always we will update everyone immediately once we know the truth. We will also update everyone on any new policies in place to safely be open.
