Thank you to the 90 or so folks who turned out to tour the Asa Packer Mansion last night. It was wonderful to see so many residents enjoying the splendor in our... backyard. If you enjoyed learning about the house, come out tonight to the air-conditioned Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center at 6:30 to learn about the man himself - Life and Times of Asa Packer. Whether downtown or your front porch, be sure to check out the Juke Box Cruisers and Friends as about 40 classic cars cruise through town in a blast from the past.
