DocuBank 02.01.2021

I was reading an article about why no one answers their phones, and it made me think about our office. We still answer every phone call - we don’t use a prompt menu or mechanical auto response. Real, live people pick the phone up and say hello, thank you for calling DocuBank. I think it speaks to the message of caring that is ingrained in our service. We want to be there for the members we support, the professionals we work with, and the hospitals who need patient informati...on. This extra level of quality and comfort doesn’t go unnoticed. At least once a day someone is pleasantly surprised that they didn’t get a machine when they call us. Several times a week I hear from members who were just so impressed with the team member who helped them. When it comes down to it, connections are the basis of what we do here. This is why we make a personal call to each and every member when they join. We take a few minutes to welcome them to the service and ask if they have any questions. Not everyone picks up the phone when we call, but we always leave a message. And we understand that level of connection and support can make a difference to how people feel about us, and the professional who introduced them to DocuBank. So please don’t hesitate to call us. We’d love to talk with you.

The holidays are a great time to gather with family and friends and surround yourself with love. That makes it the perfect time to talk to those you love about your wishes for care during a medical emergency. The pain of not having a clear conversation about this when a medical crisis happens can be more than stressful, it can tear families apart. Talking to those you love about what you want (and don’t want) might be one of the best gifts you give them this year. For some id...eas on how to have this conversation visit https://www.docubank.com/index.cfm Happy Holidays, From the DocuBank Family

Happy Holidays from DocuBank! As we do every year, we will be donating a portion of the revenue we collected for Minors Matter memberships in 2018 to a non-profit organization specifically helping children. If you have a suggestion for a group that is near and dear to your heart, please comment below with a link to their page. We’ll select 2 groups for donation. If you’re feeling inspired by any of the groups listed, please make a donation of your own. Best wishes for a fabul...ous holiday season. Your friends at DocuBank See more

299,998 . . .299,999 . . .300,000! No, that’s not the odometer turning over -- we’re celebrating the enrollment of the 300,000th DocuBank member! That’s 300,000 people who are protected because their advance directives and vital medical info are immediately available to doctors and hospitals when needed. And that’s a whole lot of attorneys, financial advisors and other professionals who are taking care of their clients -- making sure their wishes are honored and that they get... the best health care possible! So just how many people is 300,000? Well, the people who have signed up to protect their healthcare wishes with DocuBank outnumber the residents in the city of Cincinnati! If you printed every members’ advance directives and laid them out on the ground, that white brick road of living wills and health care powers of attorney would stretch over the horizon for more than 700 miles! That’s two and a half times the length of the Grand Canyon! If you stacked the directives one on top of another, the pillar of paper would stand over 200 meters tall. It would tower over the Washington Monument! Anyway you stack it, that’s a lot of people, a lot of documents, and a lot of wishes being protected. We are incredibly honored by the faith that estate planning professionals and our own members place in us every day. Thanks. Our gratitude can’t be measured (and we tried, as you can tell we like quantifying things.) Do you have a DocuBank story? Please share it in the comments! We love to hear about how DocuBank helps members and professionals.
