It’s shed hunting season!

This is Hutch. I had a better picture but was having a problem with Facebook posting it. So I decided to give up and pick another picture. He got much chubbier than this as the Winter progressed.

Cannot find the picture I wanted to use. But this our buddy Blitzen we all love.

Poor little Vixen. He did shed his droopy antlers OK.

BJ will be the grand pap this year.

I think we are all glad to put 2020 behind us. One more sad item to end our year. Our doe Peggy Anne passed away on December 30, 2020. She was 3 years old and a twin sister to Parker. Our vet was in attendance and said she had an infection all around her heart. It was not an injury, or a disease. She was born with a bad heart. Just like happens in some people. He said it is most common in cows. She was a beautiful piebald and looked just like great gramma Pebbles. So in the year of 2020, sadly we lost 4 of our deer family.

Parker broke off several of his points or he would have had very high scoring nice typical rack. Oh well boys will be boys.
