Drexeline Billiard Club has lost one of our family members, Ray Murphy. He will be missed by all at Drexeline. Ray turned into a regular at our club and had been frequenting the Billiard Room for many years, considered one of our friends. Retired from his own retail men’s clothing business, a very successful man and well respected here at Drexeline. On occasion Ray and I would have conversations about business and must say Ray was always right on. We will miss you Dearly, Ray. Our Condolences to entire Family and Friends.

The Bob Hontz show came to town again. Or should I say , again and again and again. Somebody needs to challenge this man. At any rate great shooting Bob H. Congratulations. Second goes toBill Poulton, good job Bill, and third and fourth place tie goes to Nick Christopher & Max Gordon. Kudos guys. Of course we had a respectable field with 32 last week and 25 this week ( election slowed us a bit this week ) . 7 Hill Hill Matches were had but No Dice . At any rate we will be back next Tuesday to do it again. We have a 5 Star crew working the tournament now. Lisa D. and Jimmy D. Please show them some love. They love pool and are always putting their special touches on the handling of the tournament and taking care of the customers. They are a special people.

Tuesday Night Handicap Tournament produced 32 players with 7 hill hill matches but no dice . It was the Bob Hontz show again with Kathy Cahalan grabbing second but a little birdie told me it was a chop. Congratulations to Bob and Kathy on a fine performance. Kudos to 3/4 place tie going to Duke Liberatore & Mark Perrotta. Nice shooting guys. Big thanks to everyone that came out for our weekly Handicap Tournament, the longest running in the USA. Can’t do it without ya. Hope to see all next week and have a terrific and safe Halloween. Remember, Keep on Strokin.
