I couldn’t help myself not to post this, but in all seriousness, please stay home if you’re going to consume alcohol. First responders don’t need added strain dealing with impaired driving crashes.

Sharing the road safely is, well, a two-way street. Parked motorists must not open doors into traffic and should check their mirrors and consider using the Dut...ch Reach before opening their door to ensure there are no cyclists or motor vehicles approaching. Bicyclists should avoid riding close beside parked vehicles (inside the door zone) as a vehicle door may unexpectedly open in front of them. Four feet away from parked vehicles is a safe and prudent distance. #Dooring #DoorZone #BicycleSafety #ShareTheRoad #DutchReach

We will be conducting roving patrols this holiday weekend. Please designate a sober driver, wear your seat belt and drive defensively, not aggressively. Also, remember it is illegal to furnish alcohol to minors. Furnishing includes providing alcohol to a minor as well as providing a place for the minor to consume alcohol.
