As the City of Easton Police Department continues to provide essential law enforcement services and public safety, we have implemented some new procedures to attempt to keep the public and our officers safe. In relation to non-emergency calls for service our officers may call you and request to take the report over the phone. If officers respond to your residence, they will be asking you to speak with them at your door, your front porch, or outside, and they will be using social distancing of six feet. The officers have been equipped with disposable gloves and 3M N100 particulate respirators. These preventative measures will help to keep our citizens and personnel safe while we continue to protect and serve our community.
A big thank you goes out to Nancy Caroprese and the Key Club at Notre Dame High School for their donation of teddy bears to the department. The club collected approximately 100 teddy bears to be donated to local police departments in the area. These bears will be given to children encountered during emergency situations to ease their fears. Thanks again!
