UPDATE e.h.c. is committed to helping our Clients sanitize facilities and homes should the need arise in order to help combat the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We are classified as a Remediation Company; which is exempt from businesses that were ordered to close by Governor Wolf last evening. We have projects running that are critical to infrastructure (power plants and health care facilities) that must be completed. We plan to continue operations at these locations unl...ess the order to close operations is extended to our business. We will not be working in any occupied residential homes at this time unless we are called to sanitize for COVID-19. At this point, we are recommending that our Clients use existing staff to clean all touch points every hour. Touch points include items like door handles, floors, desks, faucet handles, computer keyboards, etc. Doing so will be just as effective as having your entire facility sanitized. Sanitizing without having a known case in your facility may be a waste of resources should you have an actual case arise. PPE and sanitizer supplies across the country are extremely low due to the demand. At this time we are pricing all potential sanitizing projects on a time and materials basis. Client's that have signed contracts in place will be serviced first. Medical facilities will take priority so that we can get them operational for the continued care of patients. If you have a confirmed case in your facility it is important to remove the individual as soon as possible and then vacate the facility. At e.h.c., we have committed employees that have agreed to stay on board and help with decontamination efforts as needs arise. We will follow the CDC guidelines which may also include treating and sanitizing inside of ductwork and HVAC systems. Please let us know if you need us, we truly hope that you don't. We began an industrial cleaning project this week in a large food storage warehouse. The temperature is 38 degrees inside of this large warehouse, which makes it a great place to work in August!

Demo of the waste water tank is nearly complete. The site will now be restored and turned into a grass area.

An ehc crew is helping out EG Stoltzfus this week on a small residential demo project. This involves removing a rear portion of the home to make way for an addition.

This was a very difficult project as the historic brick and mortar were both very soft. The final product turned out amazing. Thanks to Sponge Jet Blasting Systems for help finding the right media and to L.S. Fiore for the project.

These pictures are of a lead abatement project in a power plant. The lead blocking needs to be removed so that the tolerances are 100% accurate for the installation of the new generation unit.

Spring is finally around the corner. This means it's time for Spring cleaning, but don't forget about your duct work!. This is from a project last week, the Owner (seller) actually cared enough about the buyer to have the duct work cleaned. You never know the condition of your duct work when buying a home.
