This album is a mixture of sizes, mostly 4 by 5 and 5 by 7, of the cyanotypes that I am considering "flawed" in some way, usually because I spilled or smudged the cyanotype chemicals or something else stained or smudged the paper, or the application of the cyanotype has major flaws. I still love some of these, but didn't feel right charging full price for them. I will label each one individually with its size so you will know the shipping price to add if it is the only print... you are purchasing. 4 by 5 prints: $2 shipping 5 by 7 prints: $3 shipping 8 by 10 prints: $10 shipping 3 steps to purchase! 1) Comment. 2) Send payment. 3) Send address. Details below: 1) To claim a print, leave a comment directly on the individual image saying "This one is mine!" or something similar. This will ensure in real time that everyone knows which prints are still available. 2) Once you are done claiming prints, add up your total and complete your purchase send me the total payment via Venmo (preferred - if you have not interacted with me on Venmo before I am the only Elody Gyekis on Venmo and my last 4 digits are 0890 to confirm) or other payment method (I accept PayPal, personal check, Apple Pay, and cash.) You will owe me the amount for each print plus the shipping amount associated with the largest print you purchased. You only need to pay shipping once, unless of course one of your prints is a gift and will be sent separately to a different address. 3) Private message me your shipping address. If you have purchased multiple prints, maybe take the time to forward me each one in messenger or send screen shots or a list of how many of each size, so I know that I haven't missed any when I make your package. It may be a week or two from purchase before you get them, if one is a gift for an occasion that is coming up, let me know that and I will send yours first. All cyanotype prints are handmade, one-of-a-kind sun prints made directly from freshly picked botanicals (or feathers!) The process involves measuring and mixing the cyanotype chemicals, painting them on the paper, allowing that to dry, collecting botanicals and assembling the composition on top of the paper in a dark room, taking that out into direct sunlight for several minutes to expose it, rinsing out the excess chemicals to freeze the exposure, and finally drying and flattening the paper.
