European cars can be tricky. Original speakers are riveted in place and not easily serviceable. Here we installed a direct fit speaker upgrade supplied by one of our clients for his VW. Threaded inserts and bolts were used to secure them to the oem panel in the event he wants to upgrade or return to factory at any point. It’s not always how fast it gets done, but doing it right.

Todays project: Troubleshooting and install clean up on a classic 79 Corvette! Along with tiding up wiring from the previous install, we added a simple ABS trim ring to finish off the updated radio in the dash.
