Get your groceries paid for while sipping on free coffee this Saturday, October 3rd at the Homewood Farmer’s Market (7240 Frankstown Ave) from 10am-2pm. This time, @kennyshomewood partnered with the East End Food Co-op and will be handing out Co-op gift cards with Community Food Bucks to any individual or family in need. They will also be serving up more free hot coffee from @everydaycafepgh, and some other yummy seasonal beverages from the Co-op.... What are Community Food Bucks? Food Bucks is a partnership program between The Food Trust, Just Harvest and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Community Food Bucks can be redeemed for fresh fruits and vegetables at the Co-op, or same-day at the market. About the @eastendfoodcoop: The East End Food Co-op is more than just a grocery store. We are owned by people in the community who value healthy food, strong local businesses, and environmental responsibility.
