Attention Factoryville residents: PPL will be doing some tree work in the ville for the next 2 to 3 weeks. Please be on alert in the interest of safety for all. There will be temporary lane and road closures during this work. Please be aware that part of Church Street will be closed today (Friday October 30th). We thank you for your patience.

The Ville can always use volunteers. Please consider giving back.

During the Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 14th, it was decided that Factoryville residents may participate in Trick-or-Treating. If you choose to participate, please turn on your porch light. We ask that trick-or-treaters be respectful of people who do not have lights on at their homes. If houses leave candy outside, please only take what is allowed. Trick-or-Treating should be October 31st from 6pm to 8pm. Finally, please practice all social distancing and mask wearing requirements in accordance with CDC, PA Department of Health, as much as possible. Stay healthy and safe, and have fun!

The walking bridge is repaired and back open.

The walking bridge connecting Christy Mathewson Park and Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center is closed for repairs. It should be fixed by the end of the day. Check back for an update for those who are bridge walkers.

Factoryville and Clinton residents are doing a great job following the rules of using the recycling trailer. We appreciate that and it will help us keep the this for our residents for the time being. Just a reminder that recycling hours are Monday morning through early Friday afternoon. Generally the trailer will be taken to the recycling center twice a week - early on Wednesday and Friday afternoon before the trailer is unavailable for the weekend. Feel free to call the Factoryville office or the Clinton Township office if you have any questions or concerns.

Attention Factoryville and Clinton Sewer customers. A typo appears on your 4th quarter sewer bill. The top of the page has the correct information however the note at the bottom of the page incorrectly indicates that the date due is in July. Please spread the word that the bills you received dated 10/1/2020 at the top are correct, however the information at the bottom should read "The last date to pay without a late fee is October 31, 2020."
