**COVID19 As widespread panic continues to spread, we at F13 felt that is was important to address how we are currently handling the pandemic. There is new info...rmation coming out daily/hourly and we are doing everything we can to stay educated about what is going on around us. With that being said, it is business as usual at F13 Performance and First 13 Barbell Club. We have not created any schedule changes or updates. If we are forced to make changes, we will announce them immediately on social media and via members emails. What can we all do to help? Quite simply take care of yourself and those around you. How do you do that? As it pertains to attending F13: - Wash your hands upon entering and when exiting the facility. - Use the disinfectant spray and paper towels to wipe down any equipment you use while here. - Fist and elbow bumps are in, high fives are out. Clapping is always cool. - If you feel sick in anyway DO NOT come to F13. Rest and recover and we will see you when you’re feeling better. We aren’t going anywhere How to take care of yourself: - You’re already boosting your immune system by training here! Step 1 check! - Stay hydrated 1 oz of water per lb of bodyweight per day! - Sleep! I need to take my own advice here. 7-8 hours is the goal here! - Eat healthy, wholesome foods. Lean meats, vegetables, fruits, sweet potatoes, rice, healthy fats, etc.. If you don’t know what to eat, ask! Our coaches can point you in the right direction. - Cover your mouth when you cough and avoid large crowds. Luckily, we are a small close-knit community and not a big box gym with random people in and out every day. We help take care of each other and will do everything we can to help those around us. You have all already built a strong wall against illness by putting the work in here. We are a resilient group of individuals, and like every workout we struggle through we will all come out stronger and more capable on the other side of this. We will lift each other up and make it through this as a family. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to Rob at any time. Practices are already being put in place in case we are forced to close for a few days. Programming and coaching will continue and might actually become even more fun and interactive.
